Chefs Association of the Pacific Coast

The C.A.P.C. is a non-profit organization mad up of professional chefs, retired chefs and purveyors of food and beverage products.

The C.A.P.C. is the San Francisco Chapter of the American Culinary Federation a nationwide organization with chapters in every state. The CAPC is a network that promotes professional development and education of the membership.

The Chapter President and the Board of Directors govern the association according to the by-laws. The chapter publishes a monthly newsletter, puts on monthly dinner meetings, holds an annual golf tournament and participates in food shows and charitable events. The CAPC is a mentoring organization as well as a vehicle for professional certification.

Chef Bruce joined the association in 1996 and was elected to the Board in 1998. He served as the secretary, First Vice President and was elected President in 2001. After holding that office for two years he became Chairman of the Board of Directors in 2003.
